Uniformed Patrol

The Uniformed Patrol Division is the most highly visible component of the SPSU Police Department. Protecting the campus and its community twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, the Uniformed Patrol Division represents the majority of the SPSU Police Department's staffing.

SPSU Police Officers respond to various calls of service including:

-- Crimes in progress

-- Complaints of criminal occurrences

-- Suspicious circumstances or person(s) on campus

-- Incidents of fire

-- Injuries, illnesses, or other instances requiring medical aid

-- Traffic accidents

-- Fire, security, burglary, and life safety alarms

-- Loud party or noise complaints

-- Underage consumption of alcohol violations

-- Illegal weapons possession within a school safety zone

The SPSU Police Uniformed Patrol Division responded to 4,988 calls for service in 2010.
